The car is on rails with this setup and is a blast to drive, fast too.
I removed my front sway bar due to slight rubbing that was affecting my handling. Do you have this issue?

Alright... I got this baby pretty balanced and light.... First, the tamiya stock center shaft is..well, I sold It when I sold my spares... The lightweight tamiya one is .5 grams. The 3 racing ff3 shaft is .8 g.

My corners are as follows:
Fr-310.7
Fl-320.3
Rr-384.8
Rl-345.2
Total:1361

Btw, thats with exotek ifs setup, alum bulkheads, alum rear uprights, alum steering, alum center stiffener, body and tamiya mounts, and east coast 200 mm wing! I'm sure if i stuck to all plastic, I can get to 1300...

I can adjust the suspension to balance it a bit...

Did you use 3-4 electronic scales to measure the car's weight distribution? I saw there is a scale that has a LCD controller that comes with 4 different scales, have you tried it before?

I'm assuming that you're talking about the ball cups hitting the CVD?
I moved the cup out so that it's just a hair inside of flush with the end of the sway bar, works good and no rubbing.

Tommy, as of right now I'm running stand-up. That setup is my most current with the stand up shocks.

they fit but look to be a bit too short... a bad enough bump and you'll have an axle pulled out of the outdrive...

I ran the IFS setup for quite awhile, and the car was pretty fast with that as well, but the problem I had was keeping the slop out of the moving parts. The cups wear out and create dead space in the front suspension if not kept up. The other problem I had was I didn't have the Alum. rocker arms, those are a MUST. The plastic rockers develop slop almost immediately.

I've just found the upright setup to be more consistant at the moment. I will have to try the IFS again soon though.

If you PM me your email I'll send you a copy of the full setup sheet. It's a great starter setup to build from.

Last night was much better for my TA06.
I was back in the "A" and managed a 3rd overall.

I'm now running about 4mm of droop front and rear,
I changed the rear toe to 2.5 degrees,
and I added 1mm spacers under the rear upper arms where they mount to the chassis.
I am running blue springs in front and yellow in the rear.
I also changed out the shock oil, 40w in front, 30w in the rear.
I no longer have the issue with the rear being very loose.

Now I just need to work on making the handling a little sharper.
It felt like the handling was sluggish.

Thanks for the help on tracking down issues.

I would maybe try 40wt in the rear. That should make it a little more crisp. With all the weight seeming to be mostly to the rear, that's what I found would help.
