I suggest anyone buying one, buy the Pro and put the right suspension blocks and springs on and try it before you go splashing the cash.... Only thing I would like to replace, is the rear diff, mainly to keep the oil on the inside of it more often.
What blocks do you recommend? rubber on ozite low/med traction - rear swings at apex/exiting a corner

Change to tamiya blue springs in the rear and see if that solves it.

Tried blues, even tried whites. I think I need to go back to the kit setup and start over.

what is the rest of your setup?

Im running TA06 kit yellow oil(I think its for the diff), yellows up front, blues in the rear, 5mm squat, spool front, ball diff rear a little loose 0* camber rear 1.5 front.

No one can match the handling.

I made so many changes Wednesday night trying to get it to hook up, I'm not sure.

I think . . . .

White springs in the front (had yellows at first)
Yellow springs in the rear (had blues and then whites before dropping back to yellows)
40wt shock oil front and rear
100,000 diff oil in the front
900 diff oil in the rear
5mm ride height
3mm droop front and rear
0 toe in the front
-2 camber front and rear

This is in VTA class so it's a 25.5 with a 4.34 FDR

The rear is too loose. Try heavier oil. Set the rear camber to 0* .what is your rear toe?

Put in blues in the rear and yellows up front. Adjust your damper to preload about 5mm all around.

If all that fails, try to mess with gearing. Increase the fdr to around 4.5 or so.

Maybe the body roll / chassis flex is causing the additional traction due to tweak.

Thanks for the help. I was just checking the rear blocks. I actually have the rear toe at 1.5

I'll switch those around and try it with 2.5 toe in the rear.

I have a killer VTA setup for the 06: (Carpet)

3k in the rear
Spool up front
40wt all around
Kit white springs all around
silver rr swaybar
pink ft swaybar
2 degrees camber all around
1 degree toe out up front

The car is on rails with this setup and is a blast to drive, fast too.
