Yes, it is scheduled for release on the same date as the Hotshot III, TT-02 and TRF502X.

Is that the same day as the 416MSXXXXXX?

ta06

i think after TB03.

Turbo Joe 01-07-2008 01:50 PM

...and right before the 417.

hobbipro 01-07-2008 07:02 PM

Probably in late 08, earliy 09. There's still a TRF edition that usually follows the "R" version.

KREATOR1 01-07-2008 08:55 PM

maybe after the ta05 trf edition. or it is to late for me to buy the ta05 now?
or do i have to wait for 06

jamie814340 01-07-2008 10:26 PM

Is the MS the TRF version of the TA05?

jontang001 01-08-2008 04:13 AM

Hi guys....are you jocking or it gona be happend? don't play me like that...

I would not have thought the TA05 would have been replace for at least another 2 or 3 years. It is not a top line touring car like the 414/415/416, so it doesn't get replaced as often.

Big THANKS to all the replies...I really needed the laugh. :D

Nexus 01-08-2008 01:46 PM

The only thing I can see them doing with parts they have now...

TA05RXXXwhatever...

full carbon parts/chassis
new arms, c-hubs, etc. just like 416 has
then the rest of the TA05R parts.

tc3team 01-08-2008 01:52 PM

I dont see it happening soon, what with the R and IFS out for a short while

pole_position 01-08-2008 05:39 PM

Probably Tamiya will issue out a couple more of the TA05-IFS variation including another MS, R or PRO versions before they EOL this chassis. Looking at the way they issue out new kits (eg. TRF415MSXX MRE vs TRF416), it seem like TA06 is not too far away... as long as it drive sales.

Nevertheless, the trend may change again and not surprise a re-surrection of shaft drive chassis again... We may see EVO 6 or a TB-03 soon...
