Click on last page, then when it times out hit reload. On Firefox it works, but on my iphone(safari) it does not. I actually had to bookmark the latest post I could find, and then navigate forward page by page until I find the most recent.

As popular as this thread is, I don't understand why it hasn't been fixed.

page 846 is the last page for now, its a vBulletin software issue not only on this thread or board, the page counter acts up on forums with lots of pages in a topic.

Maybe time to take the last 50 pages or so and transfer to a new thread? Sorry to go so far off topic, but it would be really helpful if everyone could access this thread easily. I direct people here all the time, with the added "you gotta hit reload" which often causes a slight lack of effort...

What works for me is after the page fails to load, the URL showing in the address bar ends in a page number that the software thinks is the last. If you simply lower the number by about 15 pages, you'll land near the last page. For example, if it shows ...860.html, I change it to ...845.html and the page loads fine.

Questions??

I'm taking a survey. How many of you would travel to Dallas, TX on Spring Break (March 15 - 18) to participate in a VTA Exhibition class if it's offered at the 2012 ROAR Nats?

Would this be run using USVTA rules, ROAR rules, or Mike's Hobbies rules?

That's a good question. The VTA regulars at Mike's are pushing to have USVTA rules during this event to make it easier for out-of-town'ers to know how to set up their VTA Cars. The final call will be made by the ROAR committee and I will let you know what their decision is as soon as I find out.

This is exactly why the USVTA rules should be followed. How can out of town/area racers be expected to go somewhere to race with so many variations of the class? You get stuck with your local regulars only cause who wants to keep changing their cars equipment to go race a different place?

I totally agree with you Flying Monkey. It is crucially important for racers to know exactly what the rules are before making a decision whether to register for an event or not. Specially if attending the event will require significant travel time. Chances are the VTA race will be an exhibition race and (if all the regulars get a say) the rules will be exactly same as current USVTA rules.

I'm currently looking for a esc and motor combo for my car, originally was gonna go with the Novak Edge 2 w/17.5 motor combo, but those are on back order.

I was wondering if I could get the Duratrax DE10 esc and AE LRP Vector 17.5T motor and still be able to run in the VTA class. Thanks

USVTA rules are here:
http://www.usvintagetransam.com/rules/index.html

Motor & ESC sections:

Novak motors are the ONLY motor allowed at this time. All house track rules regarding LiPo usage apply. Only physical motor timing advance is allowed, however Ballistic motors must not be advanced beyond the last line of the timing range sticker. 12.3 mm rotor diameter only (no "tuning" rotors are allowed, only stock Novak rotors allowed). Using ceramic bearings in the motor makes you a dork.
