Hey Kahuna, yeah there were at least 20 trans-ams at Mimi's Sunday. Had a good time, felt good to be back on the rug. I'll probably just go to Mimi's Sunday and skip HTUSA this week.

Just a quick update on the pre-registration for the Vintage Trans Am Nationals coming up on April 12th. We opened the registration cap up to 72 cars from 60 and now only have 6 entry slots remaining. If you plan on attending and haven't pre-registered, waiting too much longer would be a bad thing to do. There will not be any more slots opened up, as the building probably isn't going to get any larger in the next 5 weeks.

Register soon...

Wow Ken those bodies look Great!

We are having our 1st Trans Am race here on Sunday!!!! Probably going to have between 8-10 cars so only 1 heat but it's a start

Again we are running 6 cell Nimh and Tamiya Silver Can motors with a 6.58 FDR for now.

Big Mahalo's to Andrew over at HPI for sending us some Sticker sheets and stuff!

Default Questions

What chassis are most people running?

On HPI tires, what traction compound is used? Ground effects?

Thanks

All types, though it seems like a lot of Associated and Tamiya cars.

For compound, if your tracks allows Paragon use it, if not use whatever they allow.
