To all those that participated in the VTA division of the Hurricane Series Race at RC Performance this past Saturday, I applaud you. The C main was fun and was great experience for my son and I. The A and B mains were spectacular. It had to be some of the most realistic and clean racing I have ever seen. There were at least 24 VTA cars entered as all mains were full, in fact the C main had 10 cars starting. The real number was probably 27 or 28 total entries with grand total of 94 entries for all classes. We beat every other class in that respect. NICE JOB!

To those that were not able to make it to the show, you missed a good one.

To anyone who has any interest in trying this class, DO IT. You will not be disappointed!

Ran mine at the gate and was doing some testing with the 21.5 when I got back to my home track. Its as good as anything else for VTA. Plus its lightweight.

Has anybody seen a list of the rims allowed with pictures attached? I saw it sometime within the past month but can't remember where and didn't see it when I searched the thread.

Yeah, I made the list as a pdf file. I'll just post it again:

Threatning weather cut our turnout down today - but we still had 5 guys bring their VTA cars out (including myself) to join in the fun.

My car ... just one of the three class cars I ran today - was driven by THREE different people today. This was in effort to have a couple of our new guys get a feel for the VTA and what it's all about.

THEY HAD A BLAST...and they have old TC's (So guess what's on their SHOPPING LIST for our NEXT Club Race...)

We didn't even run transponders in them today - we just set the clock for 5 minutes and RAN...nobody cared who won - it was just about FUN.

NOTE: Our other classes are fun too - but they are a bit more serious...but MAN is it a HOOT running these cars.

Yeah, I live in Ojai and my shop is in Ventura -- it's a wonderful place to be. I'm a transplant, but my wife was born and raised in Ojai, so that's my "in".

The Tracks listing on the USVTA website has been updated this morning. If you have submitted a track via the USVTA website form, your track should be on the listings.

On another note, I should have info on the current situation with the Novak 21.5 motors shortly. There may be some other good motor news to announce soon, too.

Some distributors have been having difficulty getting Novak 21.5s. This is an issue if our racers can't buy the spec motor in our class. Hopefully, all of this will be resolved very soon.

I plan on racing the Michiana Race this weekend in Mishawaka, IN. I will have an extra 21.5 motor with me along with a 17.5 motor. If someone is having a problem getting either motor and is planning on racing this race let me know.
