Hpi Pro 4
Your local shop can definately special order HPI parts through their favorite distributor.
Nope. His distributor told him that parts are discontinued by the manufacturer. I didn't think it would be that quick which would explain why I got his used Pro4 from him so cheap. I needed some other parts, but he couldn't get it. I ended up buying some used parts on E-Bay.
The parts won't be discontinued for at least two years, fear not.

Hey guys, I am looking for a answer to a glitching problem. I have been racing my Pro 4 for 1 1/2 years now with no real problems, but now I have a motor glitch. If I unscrew the motor from the motor plate, it goes away. If I touch the motor back to the plate it glitches-BAD!! I have changed all electronics, speedo, batteries, radio, channels, anything I can think of, I have changed. I have even put the same eletronics in another car - and it goes away. Knew or old motors don't change a thing. Has anyone seen this problem? Can anyone help me? Thanks

You got a stray wire touching the graphite somewhere. Check all of your wiring and soldering joints. There is some fraying somewhere.

I unmounted the speedo from the car and held it in my hand and it did not change. No wires touching the chassis. Nor the reciever wire. I also bought a new CO27 and that glitches too!!! Do you think that the two speedos I have (Novak and LRP) don't like the car anymore? They both work in another car (Old TC3)

That is incorrect. HPI Racing has not discontinued parts that only fit on the Pro4. Your local hobby shop has the ability to special order anything you want for your Pro4 through their distributor no matter which distributor it is.
