Default Setup for stock carpet

I am starting my stock carpet season with my Pro4 and need some setup help. I will be racing on 1 year old CRC Ozite 2 with great bite. Will also be running foam tires and the BMI Pro4 chassis and upperdeck. Any setups would be great that others have ran with success. Thank you.

So....does TC3 bevel gears and Diff ring gears are direct bolt-in onto the PRO 4...? I have heard ppl saying that, but have not seen ppl saying that is true or not...I know their tooth counts are the same 16/39....Thanks........

I have some TC3 gears...they are the same size and teeth count and look like the Version 1 gears. I 've had no problems with the V1.1 gears breaking...so have not put on the TC3 gears.

I have to replace mine...so can the TC3 BEVEL be use or I can use both TC3 BEVEL and the Diff Ring Gear as well..? If I have to change both, I rather change them as a set...instead of just the BEVEL...thanks Zom....

read page 31 of the manual explaining anti-squat.
basiclly adding anti-squat to the rear will increase rear traction and slighly reduce steering. 0deg. will reduce traction and increase steering.

What's the most anti-squat you can run? Any other ways to increse rear traction? I run 3mm on the upper camber links frt and rear. Anyway to change that and help with the rear traction? Front end is perfect rear always seems to be loose. Thanks for any help

1.5 is probably the max.
to increase rear traction...several things..
no sway bars.
lighter shock oil..
move the shocks inward
softer springs
more droop.

don't do all the changes at once... 1 at a time!

Also make sure your rear uper links are on the outside outer-most position (outside hole on the rear upright)... more rear traction

I personally never use this though because the car may have too much rear traction and it makes the rear end roll too much

Thanks Zombie. That verify's everything I've done.Good to know I'm on the right track. We just run on very low grip parking lots.Traction is never plentiful so it's nice to hear all the options.

Just curious- but when you guys change your set-up, do you try to keep things neutrally biased, and change muliple things in small amounts, or just one thing to the extreme...?

One thing at a time, a small amount. Then drive. Sometimes one change will affect another part of the car.Which requires an additional change. If you change more than one thing at a time you really have no idea what helped and what hurt.
