Default Arms

Im thinking the idea of the harder (foam type) arms is to get a more consistant level of grip , using slightly softer springs instead of softer arm flex.

I bet they were Corally hard arms

Hey Phil "give me your setup mate"
Outside you need the harder plastics because of the temperature and hot it effects the plastic. If its really hot out the arm will act just like the softer one when its cold.

Wouldn't the harder arms just be the high carbon ones?

Clinton , Ive seen a Serpent S400 gear diff in a 416 it was a little odd though, I think it was a 36t pully and used different tooth pully's on either side of the centre shaft to keep the ratio the same BUT it was really quick, i have'nt seen him since so the details are only guesswork from about 3 metre's away

As long as your diff isn't slipping it will last a long time. I rarely rebuild mine, stays smooth for months...

I tried to put one in, i managed to find narrower 3mm wide bearings, and it fit all ok, but i could not find belts short enough for the rear end.

I did manage to fit it into my TOP Scythe, and it was awesome, sssssssoooooooo much punch, and never had to pull it apart.

I would pay the extra for the tamiyas. 3 racing is very poor quality.
