Also, the front hubs restricted the use of tyres wider than 24mm, not so good for 28mm foams. The option to rectify it was running HPI front hubs.
Both mods can be found here.
Another reason more recently would be the thicker chassis opition. The 4mm chassis could only use the old steering system, limiting it to some extent to just the 415, MS, or MSX.

Hey Guys,
I don't think anyone has mentioned the release date yet. If so, my bad. My distributor has indicated a January 16, 2008 arrival.
Which, means we will receive them approximately Jan. 17 or 18.
We're still taking pre-orders, but running out fast.

I just got an email from RC Champ saying that the release date is now the 13th of December. Can't wait!
