All you can do is try them...on our asphalt track the foam tires have no grip at all no matter what you do to them. The rubber works but only just barely. Often times on low grip asphalt the rubber will work better but not always.

We spray a mixture of syrup and soda on our track, and the tire grip is crazy good.

That's cool fox...I used to do that too at my race. However the person who originally asked the question is running at a track with low grip.

A small tribute for a great friend...

What stuff are you guys using to glue the foam tires? I have a hard time using the Tamiya two way tape to work. I've also tried CA and that did not work out good either.
Any tips?

Go with the tape. Then when the tire goes bad, you can tare it off and put a new one on without having to buy the tire and rim.

Use a little bit of liquid dishwashing soap on the wheel, after removing the clear film on the tape, while already applied on the wheel. This way, you can easily move the foam tire in place. Then let it dry overnight, until it's cured.

Thank guys, I'll try the tape again with your suggestions.
Just a thought has anyone tried using shoe goo to mount the foam?

I haven't tried Shoe Goo before, but you might have problems with tire wobble when it dries. These are more ideal for reparing lexan bodies and mounting servos and switches on FRP or carbon chassis.

our local track is low grip.i tried some rubber tires and they were terrible, the fronts wouldnt turn in very well and the rears i couldnt get enough heat in them. went to foams and the difference was remarkable.i dont know what brand of foams they were but they were awesome. we arent allowed to use additives etc so its just plain ole foamies for me. was unsure about the tamiya foams as their touring car tires were crap compared to sorex etc

Yeah our asphalt here is made poorly so we get the opposite results...foams work better for us when the asphalt hasn't been sealed but once it is they get 0 traction.

Benetton B195 decals
Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone on here can help me.
I picked up a Benetton B195 body the other week (now I have to buy another bloody F103 to put it on), but the box didn't have the instrcutions.
I can work out decal placement no problem, but as for a default body colour?
Does anyone have the instructions they can scan and email me?
Thanks.

201-103
anyone know if a f201 body would fit on a f103?
