Does anyone know if there is a lead you can buy to fit the sensor port of a gm 90,and then plug the computer lead in,,to save plugging the computer lead straight in to the esc???

Can anyone upload a copy of the V131_basic.gd2 setup file? I can't get it anywhere on the net. All links I found are "dead", including the one at racing-cars.com.

Thanks in advance,

Hi tomracing,

thank you very much for your fast reply. Unfortunately, the file you posted is *not* a valid setup file. If you open it with a text editor (the .gd2 files are plain ASCII) you'll see, that your file contains just a HTTP error response. I guess you also downloaded it from a "dead link".

So I'm still looking for V131_basic.gd2...

Hi Tom,

thanks again! This time it's a valid setup file, but it's called v13_basic.gd2. I'm looking for V131_basic.gd2, for the latest firmware V1.31.

Probably there's not much of a difference between V13_basic and V131_basic, but I'd prefer to be sure about it.

Sorry to bother you again.

Otherwise, maybe Martin Hofer is "listening"? @Martin: we'll probably meet in Mettenheim at june 30th...

Hi there try this link http://shop.graupner.de/webuerp/servlet/AI?ARTN=97163 clik on the little yellow/black logo under USB-driver.
It should be 13.1.

Here you go http://www.racing-cars.com/images/pdf/V131_basic.gd2

Do a right click 'save target as' into the 'files' folder of your 'Genius' folder. Then open up in the Genius application.

Cp Grafix and jorgesimes,

I really appreciate how you're both trying to be helpful, please don't get me wrong here, but...

- the link to the Graupner-Website provides the V1.31 firmware itself, but not the settings file I'm looking for.
- the link on racing-cars.com is one of the "dead" links that I referred to earlier. If you just click on the link you'll see, that the file is no longer available. If you right click and "save target", then you just save that "HTTP Error 404" htttp error code into a file.

So I'm still on my search. Martin?

well it seems all my saves of V131_basic are corrupted.
normally i just take a fresh mode6 as a start and change the values from there hence i never checked my v131_basic before just saved them for good measure.
however if you use the V13_basic or a mode6 file and read through this
http://www.racing-cars.com/images/pd...y_V131_eng.pdf
I am pretty sure you can make yourself a good setup for your motor.
and perhaps martin can come up with the real V131_basic for you still.

Yes, I guess so, I just wanted to be sure. I just thought someone must still have the original V131_basic settings file, but maybe the link on racing-cars.com was never valid, maybe just a typo or something...

Probably only Martin will be able to clear this up.

There's an older version here, I remember it wasn't much different.

Default Gm heating problems

Hello I had a race this weekend and had many problems with heating.
Running gm 75 with 13.1v and setup basic_13.1 Motor gm 13.5 2012 using timing
The track is out door and fast with a 90 meter straight. I started with 4.37 fdr and after 3 minutes the car start going slowly after the run temp was 116 dg into software change fdr to 4.66 and again 3 minuts going slowly the last final run fdr 5.0 same problem.
I use to run x12 13.5 and it was fast and no problems
Any help would be nice tanks.
