On the '008 EU is it possible to use the 20T (305577) center layshaft pulley and rear belt (305443) with Composite solid axle 38T (305188) and ball diff set 38T (305003) to get a drive ratio of 1.9 Anyone tried it

This question was also posed on the Team Xray forum, and no, it cannot be done with the parts that are currently available. New belts would be required.

As Chris P said new Belts are needed.
I have how ever done this mod but you need the front belt off the Schumacher Mi3, Rear belt off a Yokomo BD and a 20T pulley off something like an FK05 (Part number 305575) to go with the Mi3 belt which is 3.5 wide instead of 3mm and take off the raised lip on this pulley where the E clip goes. The 008 layshaft pulleys are 0.5mm narrower.
Hopefully Xray will bring out some longer belts but untill then this works well and the pinion now clears the front belt no problems plus I can use a better spur / pinion comcination for my 10.5 BL.

I drove the car with rubber tires yesterday on a high grip track.. it was super easy and super fast! Really nice to drive and 1 full day off racing and no wear or what so ever, i race brushless 3.5t with 5cells. Verry nice! Verry impressed by this kit!

tested the car today. awesome. i suppose the swaybar mount is for the rear swaybar, today i noticed that the pulley is rubbing against the swaybar (EU setup).

those pinion vs battery bars issue is pain in the a$$ hahahahaha but solved nonetheless. interim remedy. the best solution will be to use thinner pinion gear.

Tested mine today on a semi-wet track.
Car is more stable, with little tendency to lose traction (cause of the track)
While responsiveness and front traction is quite same with 007.

The set-up is a little bit different between instruction manual and basic setting sheet, so I follow the setting sheet one. With change only to front downstop 4.4mm and front one 6mm.

Good car, can't wait to test it on dry high-grip track. .

One thing still annoyed me. The front belt still rubbed at left side of it.
This thing hapened also on T2 and T2 007.
Anyone experienced the same problem? Any answer to it?

These issues are being dealt with by the parts package currently being distributed to distributors around the world.
