Maybe a brace across the back would eliminate that. It's just I noticed over time with my 3.2r that the bow existed even after the o-ring was removed. I'll probably end up using tape since it looks like tape is much easier on that chassis then your typical saddle pack car.

i decided to go with no cross brace for this reason.i bought an o-ring that is not too small so the bow is minimal without causing internal fractures in the material.this is what causes the relaxed bowing of the chassis.all of this has been thought through and has been designed around this issue.you will be in good shape buddy.

also,our origional prototype had a cross brace and it limited motor movement and you would sacrifice your flexibility with gearing.the looks are deceiving.you need to really see it in person to understand.

it does not come with a thrust bearing.we use the normal diff

Jason,

The car looks fantastic! I have been racing 1/12 scale for 25 years and this may be one of the most inavative designs I have seen.

In my opinion there have only been 5 true inovative designs

-convential T-bar
-some of you remeber the TQ eagle(TQ Engineering) that was popular in the late eightes
-Delta
-Corally
-Link Cars

Thank you for doing your homework on this one! I'll be ordering a couple of kits from you soon. Mabey put one in the show for you at Cleveland.

thanks travis.it would be nice to have you running the car.i have spent alot of time on this design since i started.i saw alot of promise and new it would take alot of work but i had to follow through with it.i am happy i did.

Is there any special advantage to run with thrust bearing? As I saw quite many 12pan in JP running with thrust bearing recently.

that is why you can't beat P2. this is not just any 12th scale car, it is "THE 1/12th SCALE CAR". Buy it and you will get a personal guanantee from Jason himself that you will beat P2 on the first outing.

when using the o-ring battery retainer what keeps the battery from sliding in the slots? Would you recommend one just use tape to prevent the battery from moving?

i ran the rubber o-ring with no problem what so ever , i only had the batteries move once when i rear-ended a nitro-car at full speed
