BMI's DB12R
I know there is a 12th scale forum but with the popularity of the new BMI DB12R, I thought it would be nice to have its own thread to ask questions and have Owner/driver and Team drivers answer them without going through pages of the 12th scale forum.
As far as I heard the release of the new car hits at the end of this month.
Here are a couple pics of mine, but mind you the new car has the new easy access for brushless motors.
Here is a link to what yours will look like with the standard rear pod....

Jason can you throw the updated pics on here?????
Thanks for an awesome car.
So post up your questions....

Jason, what servo mounts will the kit have or do we furnish our own? And will there be a setup sheet for asphalt with the kit?
Thanks, Allen

i am developing new servo mounts that will allow you to run the servo flat or angled.the car will come with my asphalt setup and the carpet setup we used for testing.both setups work extremely well.i will put together some pics tommorow to go in depth with an explination on our new rear suspension system.it is very unique and is extremely durable.my car has not seen a tweak station since february and is still tweak free.

We have found the thick plates are best EVERYWHERE.
Keep in mind that the normal t-bar thickness rules do not apply to this car because the fore and aft movement is on pivot balls.
On a t-bar car you always have to compromise steering vs. rear traction when you choose the t-bar you want to run.
The DB12R lets you run stiff flex plates to get you loads of steering but this has zero effect on rear traction because that is governed seperatly by the rear shock and spring.
All this steering lets you run less dual rate for less tire scrub, more corner speed and less tire wear.

Hey Guy's I got the privilege to try out BMI's db12r Throught a friend of mine here's a brief report on the car. I was very impressed with how easy and effortless the car was to drive.
You don't have to push this car at all to make fast laps Its very easy to drive. The dbr12r is fast right out of the box awsome!!!
And the first thing I noticed about the car was how fast the car cornered and how much more consistant it was all around the track ,For as High tech the car is its very easy to setup and work on which is a big plus in my book.
And if ya get to look at one up close the fit and finish I by far the best I've seen. I cant wait to get me one, Anyone thinking about getting this car this car is the real deal The BMI db12r gets my two thumbs up.

Can we get some set-ups from Adrain, Jason and the Team, please? Please make sure that you say what the surface and additive is, because we run Jack exclusively in Europe, so need to know if the set-up is for Jack or Paragon, and what surface or carpet type and bite level. Thanks in advance.
