Wow thats a fast build! took me 2 nights. 1 night to just build the front end and sand/CA the chassis, and the second night to get electronics on it and get it running.

Jason, (or anyone for that matter) can you please explain what changing the front droop does for the cars handling.
ie; changing from 3 shims to 2 shims above the upper pivot ball.
Is there an optimum difference in tire dia from front to rear? Perhaps a ratio you can use like the rear tires are for example should be 1.05 times bigger than the fronts.

I usually always run a .100 split. The .100 difference from front to rear just gives me the feel i am looking for. When i run a .050 split, I feel the car has spongy feel. The .100 works well for me. I have seen many variances is preffered split.

Droop in the front makes the car a little more predictable. This is at the expense of a slight bit of on power steering. With no droop, the car will feel very direct and almost feel like it wanders a little. Some guys like that. I prefer to have the car a little more predictable.

Thanks Jason,
one more thing. On the weekend I was getting a little bit of double steer on the car. We were running outdoors on Ashfelt. What would I do to correct this without sacrifising any rear grip?

I found what the problem was with the motor moving. I had a bent pod plate (the one where the motor mounts)
I've changed it over now, so hopefully that's the end of the problems
