Don't forget parkas for those of us who experience the 20's...MINUS 20's...at night on not incredibly rare occasions.

I wanted to let you know that we now have our own 78 tooth/64 pitch and 58tooth/48 pitch machined spur gears in stock. We will also have large pinions shortly. I will post a pic shortly

58 tooth?! Wouldn't the diameter of the diff rings be larger than the spur?

The 58 tooth is the 48 pitch equivelent of a 78 tooth 64 pitch gear. They are the same diameter and both use 12 diff balls

ahhh.. I totally read over the 58t/48p part. I hardly ever think about 48p anymore.

While on the topic of gears, how is everyone gearing a 10.5 outdoors? on Novak's website, they recommend a rollout of 51mm for a 10.5 in a 12th scale. That would be a 26/88 with fresh out of the box Jaco Prisms. Currently, I'm running my 10.5 with a 36/88 ratio (

) and the motor is still in the correct temp range after an 8 minute race. I assume the 51mm rollout was for tight, indoor carpet tracks? I've got a big race coming up this weekend and need to know where I should start out for gearing on a large outdoor parkinglot track. I've never run brushless in a 12th scale until I got my DB12R 2-3 weeks ago.
