I run on a 50x30 ft track so rotation is key. I am now running .078 flex plates with the tweak screws moved rearward .50. Haven't tried it yet but I will soon.

What are you running in the tubes? I will get schrefflers complete setup for you when he gets back. Post your setup so i can see if i can make any suggestions. You should be able to get the rotation you need with the stock plates.

You Jason, I was root'in for ya bro,I was watch'in you guys live on the internet. These big races are tough pat your self on your back I think ya did well bro Congrads to all the BMI DB12R Drivers at the snowbirds

Congrats to Jason Schreffler for his 2nd place A main 1/12th finish at the Snowbird Nationals with his DB12R and both his wins in stock and 19T TC with that one off chassis, top deck and towers i made for him. You my friend, ARE A MACHINE!!!!!!!!!! You deserved this one big time bro. You were way overdue.

Congrats to Randy Castor for making the A main in 19t 1/12th with his DB12R at the snowbirds. Sorry about the bad luck in the main bro. there is always next time. you ran great all week bro.

PW ran really awesome this week. We never did find just the right setup yet but we got his car good enough for him to wheel it into the B main this week. It was a tough field and we have minimal modified setups for high bite so we were chasing the track all week. Every time we went to race the traction was different. Great job PW. Your time is coming bro. We will get the setup for you with a little more practice.

No congrats to me because i choked every round including my mains. My cars worked great but the pressure and nerves made sure i stunk the place out in every run. The whole big race thing just isnt for me. I cant pull myself together. Every time they call my car out in the lead i fell apart. Nerves kicked in and i would crash. I will stick to just helping out get the cars running for the team and customers rather than racing.

For all of you that i got to meet this week, It was a blast. You guys are all a great bunch of guys. Thanks again for the support.

We typically go softer with flex link in high grip conditions. Schreff was running .060's at the Snowbirds.

Here you go.
Just remove the batterylocator and tape the lipo in lengthwise using the tape slots.

Keep in ming this is a very early raw prototype and the production car WILL look diffrent. This one had the old DB12R protype read pod on it.

No room for electronics is there? Is the production chassis going to be wider? If it was used 4 cell it would be good, but it looks really tight on room

I like it though!

You can't put the ESC and Rx infront of the batteries

There is plenty of room in the middle of the chassis..

Like I said this is an early prototype of the chassis. The production chassis looks completely duiffrent, is a touch wider and will accomodate at least the LRP and SP speedos without anything hanging off the side.

The car is going to have final changes made to it. It will fit Lipo and 4 cell along with room for the electronics. It is very hard to do an ideal layout for the lipo in the center because of the weight of a brushless speedo. The car just wont balance out well. It will be designed to work the best with a 4 cell pack or lipo in place of the 4 cell pack. After speaking with some of the manufacturers this week, we are all pretty much in agreement that 7.4v lipo will not be the way to go in these cars. We will be doing more testing and i will keep you all updated. All of us manufacturers are working together and designing our cars to specific platforms. We were all in agreement that 7.4 is not the way to go. It will be an option though.

I will be using a R1 PRO in it, so its a small speedo.....

I will buy the one that will fit the lipos the best... I wont use anything but my lipo in it.....

I can deal with cramped room, and use weights to balance it out or something....... Heck I dont mind putting the ESC on top of the little shock mount to keep the speedo centered...... IDK, I guess make the plans when the car actually is for real, and I have one in my hands

It's gonna be about the same, if not a little bit more than a 1/12.
