Hey Adam,
Is the programmer the same for both? What parameters are adjustable in the Feigao with and without the programmer?

Shawn told me the GT programmer doesn't work with the Feigio, but one that does is coming in soon.

Question for the Experts:

Why are many of the brushless controller companies putting the two battery connections on opposite sides of the ESC? This creates an inductive loop and negates many uF of capacitance on the battery cap. I have seen this same thing on 3 different companies including the controller in this thread.

Thanks,

Matt

Ive been told otherwise or misunderstood.
These are the 2 programmers and if the GT one doesnt work with the Feigoa then the Exige unit should.
Speedpassion has only 2 programmers available.

I will follow up and confirm though.

The Speed Passion GT has its own programming box and the Faigao has its own and the will not work with each other's speed control.

I am pretty sure its just efficient packaging. Its easiest to put the high current power input traces on the control PCB's perimeter feeding the stacked fet pcb's. The phase outputs then come out the middle.

Every BL speedo, even airplane units, do it this way.

You are correct

3 speed controls 3 control boxes

The 2 you have pictured above are for the GT and Exige.

There is one for the Feiago, we just simply don't have it yet, they are on order.

I only run speedo fans in Mod sedan. They never get hot with 27T/13.5 or 19T/10.5.

What are people running Core Lipo, Speed Passion GT ESCs and Speed Passion 10.5Rs?

setting and final drive?

Geared around 5.0 - 5.3 the only way I could get the motor running closer to the Novak 10.5 was to max out the timing setting and start/punch setting on the GT. Just wondering if anyone else has done this.

===

The Speed Passion w/ my Novak 13.5 in default settings was very good. I messed with timing a little but it seemed to perform best with the recommended settings. With more timing I didn't make 5 minutes. I think with more timing and lower gearing that might work better but would need more testing.
