Serpent to 1/10th EP Touring Kit S400

Nathan, here's what I'd recommend:
#1- use the Yokomo BD rear diff, w/ serpent pulley so you have the same gearing...this will reduce some weight and rotational mass for quicker acceleration. The Yoko BD diffs will last a long time even with mod and cheaper...
#2- Go for aluminum or Titanium screws, Titanium hinge pins, as Marcos recommended
#3- Use tamiya 46mm rear aluminum bones
#4- As far as Motors- If your running mod- get your hands on an LRP 3.5 or 4.5 motor- they are 165g, which is much less than Novak's 189g, and similar motor. Or my favorite, the Trinity N60, which weighs only 156g! Its fast and runs cool. If you cant get those then run an Orion Vortex BL motor.
If you are running 19T and below, for 19T, run Orion Vortex 10.5 Bl motor...its the lightest. For stock, run the LRP 13.5 BL motor...

1- Why not try using bigger pulley?
2-Ti hinge pins, i think didn't release yet.
3-Only driveshaft, maybe tamiya axle fit also, isn't it?
4-Could better trying to use 18T centre pulley from 3racing for Cyclone in stock race. But does it suit on S400?
Anyway, could anybody tell me if this car handling really seems TRF415?

The car handles very nicely. a bit better than a HB Cyclone or TRF 415 MRE...its lighter than those cars, too! Really nice quality car and is very easy to set up get working much easier and faster than most cars...Its got a huge sweet spot and is very forgiving, much like my good old Cyclones, but tougher and more durable...its great- once you try one you will see what we mean.

I think you guys are over thinking weight.. I believe it doesnt have much of an effect as you guys are thinking because look at the MI3 it won Vegas. It heavy and the old prototype losi type r they were a tank. Just my $.02

I think if S400 has change with some TI and ALU parts can annihilate these
40g almost for sure.
Isn't the original ball studs are also steel, maybe could also take off some grams from here if change it with TI ones.
