can someone help me out with a question, i got hold of a S400 second hand a little while back and have just stripped and gone through it again and rebuilt as per the manual, i noticed when i was assembling the front end the previous owner had changed the blocks to 2x 0.0 toe blocks instead of the kit 1.0/3.0 toe blocks, could someone tell me if this is a popular tweak and what it does to the car,
cheers Jason

Jason, like M-technic posted, by using the 0 and 2 blocks, instead of 1 and 3 blocks, it allows you to keep the same inboard toe out, but reduces the over all front track width making the front end narrower than the stock 1 and 3 suspension blocks. With a narrower front end, you get increased frond end traction/bite, since the car will roll more and transfer more weight to the front end when cornering, resulting in more over all traction/steering at that end. This is typically usefull when you need more agressive turn in or over all steering, especially on smaller or tighter tracks, med grip.

Anyone can recommend what pinion i should start with for a 102T 64P spur in my S400? Im using a Mamba 7700Kv powered by 7.2v lipo.

you can use the other end mounts and they will work, i cant remember which ones but one end is stronger and a few UK drivers use them both ends to reduce breakages

Hmmm i see
You know ive been wondering if this chassis is what has actually made me faster, or if its just my fear of crashing.
Every time I race it im thinking "ok you dont have parts for it so just avoid wrecking". Next thing Im bumping form the B and making 2nd or winning the A. Slow is fast, or I guess in this case scared is fast
