Is this correct? Just seems really really odd these sizes. How about comparable to 48 pitch?

Not trying to argue guys, appreciate the help, just confirming I guess
For 17.5BL motors, 3.5-3.7 is normal

For the S400, a 88T 64P w/ 53-54T Pinion should be in that range.

You dont have to use Serpent pinion gears. PRS, Robinson, TIR, etec will all work.

Hi Jon;

I wanted to say thank you again for your valuable help last Saturday at BC Raceway. If I didn't reset the parameters on the controller before the main the results would of been better. Coming in 2nd place was good right? I'm sure nobody noticed that there were only two of us racing. The worst part is that the other driver lapped be a few times. O'well it should only get better.

No problem. Once you get a current car and you can get a good base setup on it, you'll improve a ton. You did well for your first race.

Any thoughts on the Airtronics M11? Other radios that you would suggest?
How about a transponder model that would fit both in my current car and future car?

Thanks

I love my M11. Had it since just after it was released. I used an M8 before that. I've driven cars with other radios before and I just don't like the feel of them. I think with the top level radios, it's all about feel and comfort. They're all pretty much the same quality. Whichever one feels more comfortable in your hands is the one you should go with.

Hey Jon, you still not gonna be able to make it to the BCR race this weekend? It actually sounds pretty fun and I'm really thinking about going...

the Orion 3600 25C are great and widely used...good quality. So the 30C pack should be just as good at least. Dont know if it will actually fit an S400. Check the dimentions.

It should fit pretty easy, you will have to take a little material off the T-brace and the right bulkhead.

I have to work Saturday. I don't get off until 12:00. I'll be way too late. And no way I can switch with anyone. Done that too many times lately for racing.

You really only have one option for a transponder unfortunately. AMB is the only one that works with the lap counting systems out there.

Default S400 vs. M13.5

Your thoughts anyone? Pros and cons, any info. here would be good before I go out and spend the bucks.
