The power rating of a brushless motor will be more important than a brushed in the future.
It will be the range in which its considered a good motor that will count.
I hate numbers but it will be impossible to keep them out of the equation.
Consistency between each motor will be very important per manufacturer.
Theres no tune ability, so the motors will have to be as close as possible in power.
Different rotors or stronger or weaker to make one better or worse will be the only fix either way.
The numbers will play a major roll if brushless is ever to 100% be excepted through out.
It sucks.

ESC Profile & Proper Gearing
Need help.
Just finished installing my Novak GTB & 13.5R BL motor yesterday on my TRF415 MRE.
Need to know what profile do I use & proper gearing (default profile is set at #1). My 415 MRE uses Xenon 102T 64P spurgear with an internal gear ratio of 2.25:1. Current pinion gear installed is 38T 64P = 6.04 final gear ratio.
Would that be a suitable gear ratio on a med-size track?
Any suggestions will help.
Thanks.

Profile for 13.5 Pro Stock BL Motor
Thanks for the reponse in regards to my prev post.
Still need help with the recommended profile setting. Current default setting for the GTB is set at Profile #1.
What would be the proper profile used for the 13.5 Pro Stock BL motor?
Any suggestions will help.
Thanks.

The Evicerator
Profile 1 (The default profile) is primarily what you want to run for most applications.
If guys change anythign they usually fine tune their drag brake (blue and amber LEDs) or their minimum drive (amber LED)

with same gearing how much faster is the Sintered 13.5 vs the non sintered 13.5?

I am considering converting to brushless.
Can the sintered rotor in the new pro 13.5 be replaced with the bonded rotor ?
Some events here don't allow sintered rotor, was thinking of alternating between the two as required.
Thanks
