Hi guys,
Did anyone manage to create a locked front diff for the Barracuda? Speedtechrc were supposed to make some, but no news yet
Also, are there any diff halves made of material stronger than delrin for the Barracuda?
Thanks for your help
Regards,
Mark

We just tested the prototype this weekend, so we should have the spools soon.
Initial test was very good, the spools are made of steels, and lightened so they are no heavier than the one-way unit. A couple more drivers will be testing them this coming week, and when we make sure everything is okay, they'll be released.

Finaly got around to changing over the bones in my front cvd's last night, ready to race again tonight. The titanium axles had more wear than I thought, the holes have been slightly enlarged to make them about 50% wider in one direction. I know TiR had problems with their cvd's when making them out of plain titanium, often more wear than was desirable, so they started coating the joints with a hard steel somehow, would be nice to see the same thing done to the Cuda axles. Then they should be harder wearing and still nice and light.
Maybe it's just the Scotsman in me, being the usual cheapskate
Also installed a new servo, the Futaba 9550, so I have more room just helps make the motor wiring neater and easier.
Will also be trying a new radio tonight, going from my top end KO Vantage stick set to a basic Futaba wheel set, just to see how the wheel feels. I may end up investing in a Futaba 3PK, the KO helios is just too ugly though

Just how long have you been running your titanium cvd's ?
My R3 is currently running breakin so I'm going racing thursday night
Have anyone had the steering hubs go VERY tight in the C-hub ?
My steering is not very smooth, but I haven't heard anything in this thread about the steering needing some sanding to fit
thanks
