Well that might be a good thing, get to adapt the TC3 servo saver into the R3.

70 tooth is the largest I used, if you go too big, there seems to be a problem with catching the teeth on small rocks and stuff through the cutout in the chassis.

It's all Japanese, but if you buy the car from Speedtech, you get an English suppliment sheet.

Acetone or nail polish remove will get the stuff off.

Yah i tried nail polish remover... works decent but i think i may have to let it set a bit longer to remove the stubborn spots.

The R2 is built but i'm still reading up on all that previous posts on how to set it up/improve it. I really like it, it's very high quality and i'm very impressed with it. I just have to scrape up some dough for the essentials like the aluminum shaft holders and a pal and i should be good to go. Just waiting on steve to get some back ordered parts in stock before i order.

I've been breaking it in with my 3v/5v power supply (www.hobbytalk.com) and it was vibrating but i ended up tightening the shaft mounts further and things smoothed out quite a bit. I'm always afraid to torque too much as i don't want to strip parts. All in all, an excellent car though i want a belt drive for mod. Waiting for the Tech MYO2R or the Tamyia 415, whichever steve gets first.

At least the sway bars, offset ball studs and maybe aluminium uprights, C hubs and universals.
That's what in my list so far.

Alloy shaft holders are the only hopup I put on my origional R2, and it worked just fine. Everything else is eye candy, because it really wont make this car much stronger.

Bladder type shock caps, a good battery retaining bar...and some springs
Just some thoughts to add to the rest.

What's everyone drilling the stock piston to? I picked up some dremel drill bits that come with a 1.2 and a 1.6. If I recall people have been using the 1.2. Any confirmation on this?
