Guys + OVA in particular

Is the Triox car not the same as an R2 with Xenon stage 3 ??

It has the PAL conversion already as it comes outa the box !

Is there a PAL conversion for the R3 or would that be exactly the same as an R2 with the PAL conversion and the new steering set-up ??

Can anyone tell me what the XENON conversion consist of ??

Please remember i am in the UK and know very little about this car
infact i have never seen one close up and would really like to see some more pic's other than those on the Alex Racing site!!

No, the Triox car is a stock R2 with a reversed battery/motor location.

It does not have the pal conversion

There is no pal conversion for the R3.

The xenon conversion comes with a 3mm chassis, a two piece upper deck and a xenon drive system which is similar to the pal system.

All that should be fairly accurate, if anyone knows something i forgot, please let him know.

hey merciless
awolsoldier is right, but the xennon chassis different and the battery slot is moved forward more than the stock one, that would help to get more front traction..plus the chassis is very thick top and bottom..Fas as the R3 it is better than stock R2

Right.........i think

So if i'm to buy a "CUDA" you guys think the R3 is the version to buy today ?

And since there is no PAL version for the R3 i've no need to worry about XENON parts

Oh is XENON like alex racing tuning devision (Like rayspeed and yokomo)or completely seperate company??

Sorry for all the noob questions just NEED to know !!

Right..R3 is the one to buy...or one of KO's special edition cars..but he's all sold out... wont' be seeing anymore for awhile..

the only option part you may want to consider is the aluminu shaft supports... the stock pieces are plastic.

Xenon is I think is a seperate company of it's own...they make parts for others cars as well.

No need to be sorry...we're all here to help each other out... whether it's an new question or old...

good luck and happy racin'

R3 just updates to an extent from an R2. Xenon is just an aftermarket company that makes hop ups for the R2 and I think other cars. If you go with an R3, just run it stock and if you feel like you want hop ups, just get them. That's what I did for my R2. You would be very happy with this car. I have the Xenon chassis, and upper deck stage. It also comes with the motor mount so I would not need the Pal drive system. I also added the hardened mid span a arms, hardened c hubs abd knuckes but my Xenon aluminum c hubs should be here today via the big brown truck . Steve at speed tech has more than met my needs, (and wants), for my parts, and great service. I hope this kinda helps. Don't feel bad about noobie questions, I was there myself with this car. I've had mine over a year now and have no plans to change.

Definately get the R3 as going with the latest chassis is always a plus. I got a good deal on my R2 so i went with that but either way you're getting a good car.

Thanks for the pics OVA. This opens up the options if I do break the drive shafts. I might try my Losi MIP Cvd's on the R2 since I have quite a few of those.
