58 was using inner hole at sus arm. Trying to get more steering.

Hey guys, like the pics of the R3 keep em coming.
Alex USA site looking fab too, well done Steve.
Anyway, Johnny 55, I have run my cuda on both newer ( 1 year old) and older (10 year old) tarmac tracks with Rayspeed springs, Had blue up front and yellow on the rear, although did change to yellow all round when it got damp. Track surface was cold at 5 degrees which is normal for the UK (most of the year ) Car was very easy to drive and was developing much more grip than anybody else outhere, Would have qualified 3 rd in mod with a 27T quad mag!!!
Will be getting the alex 1.4 springs as soon as I can and have someone ready to colour code them for me
Can anyone comment on the wear rate of the titanium axles compared to the kit versions....Thanks

I like the Alex springs on the cuda kit shocks with yokomo bladder caps, they're ice and smooth and with the Alex springs there are no ride height problems.
I'm sticking with the Rayspeed reds and whites now jus because they seem to give a great balance to the car. I would have thought they'd be too hard for wooden floors but they're working great, balance seems more important than anything.
Steve the new site looks very slick
Could do with the spring chart rc-zombies posted so we can direct people there whenever they ask

I experienced excessive wear on one of my rear titanium axles during the drive train break in process. I was using the Xenon aluminum rear hubs and the bearings were not a good fit. The axles wore a noticeable groove and caused a lot of slop in the rear axle/bearing/hub assembly. I put in a new axle with the stock plastic carriers and everything is as it should be. Not sure what the tolerances should be on the Xenon hubs but they seemed a little sloppy.

Sounds like a hub or bearing problem, which is strange.
The bearings fit very nicely in my Xenon hubs, easy to slip in if you make sure it's square. May have been a duff bearing or the hub was machined badly. Pics would be handy.
