Default ceramics?

steve... any word on ceramic bearings for the R2? i thought i remember a rumor that you were gonna carry some?

if not.. does anyone have ceramics in their R2? i saw a friend's surikarn EvoIII with ceramics last night and it was insane how much it spun. i know my R2 has a drivetrain thats very free, so ceramics will really help.

race last night at socal with my R2.... had this japanese guy set the TQ at 21 laps in 4:08 in intermediate sedan... and i told my friend.. watch ill do 22 laps and beat his car with my cuda...

i did 21 laps in 4:07 in the second qualifying.. with the same friend bumped me three times.. and prevented me from getting the 22nd lap. it was a lot of fun tho. too bad i made one critical mistake in the main and finished 2nd (not counting the brushless guy). cant wait to work on this car more and see how much faster i can get with it... oh well. no more racing for me until next year. im retired for the rest of the year!

Ask KO Racer when he get home from playing in the sand friday. He says he'll race saturday but we'll see. The technical track will have him spinning or could make him stop spinning

No prob man, if you keep it, just bring it by my pit and I'll help you with the drivetrain. I didn't have ceramics in my R2, I had the Squat bearings, but Acer Racing does have a set for the R2 if you want them.

I did descent last night, got my ass handed to me, but I was basically just working on setup, havent run mod in a while... I started with a 11x2, and it looked like I was running a stock motor compared to those guys. Went to a 8x1, and the extra speed gave me a ton of push. I got it worked out in the main, but I just gotta get my throttle control down now, I'll be there sat, and next tues for practice, gonna do my best to find a good setup.. Just ordered 3 sets of foam tires for the carpet champs next weekend, gonna forget stock, and just run mod.
