Hopefully, they'll include the alloy shaft holders with the kit this time. The R3 will have the same layout as the web, right?

Why would they want to change the cells over to the left? they had the chance when they went to the R2, it had already been done with the old PAL version. The cells are fine where they are, they could just move them forward a little. It's nice to be different from those TC3 followers

Alloy shaft holders included would be a great upgrade. Hopefully they will actually do that.

Well, the top winning shaft cars all have the batteries on the left side lately. The SD, Pro4, Evo3, and the of course the TC3. There must be something there that works. The companies that make these car must have found out the difference between the left and right battery placement. They could have opted the other way around, but didn't. Just wondering.

You saying the Cuda isn't a top winning car?
Right guys, where's this punk live, we gotta sort him out
The Cuda did great at the Reedy race in RBF's hands, and some awsome results recently in Japan. There's nothing wrong with the cells on the right, just because someone else does well with it one way there's no reason to simply copy

Hey hold on, don't get your panties in a bunch. I am not bagging on the Cuda. Just expressing my observation. Second place is not bad, but it is not first place. At the recent JPN event, it did well too, 7th place, right. Cars 1-6, well you know the story. Just like I said, just wondering if there is really a difference.

I drove the Evo 3 right after the R2, and didn't notice a difference from having the batteries mounted on the other side...

All I can say is look for a big change.....well sort of.... mostly the motor mount and some other weak points... also a bit firmer chassis

Actually 5th and 8h place and both drivers were not sponsored....and the 8th place guy used Zapped batterys by Eagle!!!!! nothing was mached...... just show that the Car and the driver are just as important

OK I have hear the 1st bit of info from my friend that went to the show today..

1st) No more PAL drive system required
2nd) the motor mount and upper deck are now together just like the SD or the evoIII pro4 ect ect
3rd)The carbon has been updated to some super cool / strong $h!t the Chassis now has a Rainbow effect to it kind of like color change paint way cool
4th) They have done a slite mod to the stabilizer mount to make it more smooth and for better access..

thats all I know for now...but the chassis seems to be a bit stronger..and I take some pic`s after I go on Sunday
