Hmm, I think I'll be ok without the searching

Time to begin the teardown on the R2.

What weight shock oils does it have again?

Thats the Excel kit, we're talking about the Xenon Conversion. I saved one pic but it doesn't show everything.

HEHE, I've confused the two myself plenty of times, must be those E's and X's
I still have to think for a couple seconds each time to remember if it's the hopped up normal looking kit or the conversion with the new motor mount and split topdeck.

The Xenon conversion looks like it will be pretty nice... I still think I'm going to like the PAL Type A a little better, should be stiffer, which is good, since that car is gonna get suited with a 7 turn

why would they sell it without the drive cups, etc. ? or do the original PAL system bits work?

hmm.... what to do....

Yes the PAL drive train parts are a Direct Bolt over.. even the motor mount if you don"y want to use the Xenon upper deck.. ( I don"t know why you wouldn"t)

I'm going through it, the rear diff was having problems I had to make it way too tight for it not to slip. Also 2 of the Squat bearings seazed in the front knuckles, so I'm ditching those, and cleaning out all of the others. I think I can get the setup a lot better, just have to try some things out.
