evo surikarn and R2 are both very good cars and fast. i own an evo and recently have purchased 2 Barracuda R2's (only race one) but the durability of the R2 is significantly better than the evo. No striping of the one-way gears for one, doesn't seem to get tweaked as easily in a crash either.

you can drive this car very agressively with confidence - it will almost scare you in ability

right now the only real hop-up parts required is the alum shaft supports.

the other issue i have heard alot about with the R2 is the spur gear - I run the Novak Brushless system and have used the same spur i buildt the car with.

i would lean towards an R2

I am thinking about selling the driveshafts from the car as well. I just got some new chargers, and the Turbo 35 GFX isn't cheap... Anyone interested in the regular driveshaft and the 1 way shaft, complete with umput shafts?
