I don't entirely see the point in that - the main aim of the Rayspeed steering (as far as I can tell) is to give a central mounting point for the steering link from the servo, so there is even steering response on both sides - whereas that is just a complicated way of having the same setup as standard.

I have actually broken the steering on my SD during carpet/foams a month or two ago. Basically when you go with the RS Steering system you are weakening it because you have to cut/trim off part of an ear. So a good hard smack will break it. This screwed up my whole carpet day. And eventually went back to the stock steering system just before the mains when it was too late.
Soo.... it's not entirely impossible to break it.
BlackFlag..... It's the same building where the indoor offroad used to be. As for times..... I'd say around noonish is when it'll open for practice. As for getting out... I can't say. It's a new time for me to start (5pm)... and I don't know what the crowd will be like for indoor carpet. But 3 qualifiers and the mains will be run.
