Thanks rcracenut. That is really similar to what I ran on my carpet RDXs in the past. Worked well.
My current 13.5BL Stock Rubber Carpet setup is Rob's using RP30s all around. Only changes are 24# front springs and minus the f/r swaybars. I also use either Mazda body. Car handling is flat through the corners with great rotation.

Hi
Just wondering if there is any flaws while builing the Phi?
Im trying to decide on weather to choose a Scythe or a Phi. At this stage i am leaning towards the Phi mainly becuase itsseems to be a better car over all and comes with the alloy diffs, rear hubs, c hubs, and battery brace.
Also which online shops sell parts for the rdx phi?

The front and rear diffs are the same.
The build of the car is easy. The only suggestions I have are to get the 9mm diff wrench. It just make adjustments and building the diffs that much easier.
Tony I take it you are running Rubber tire? If so the Euro kit will have what you need. You may want to pick up extra springs and maybe some extra arms.
Set the car up with Josh H or Robbies IIC set up. I hear both are dialed!
Hit the track and enjoy!!

The 35 arms are very brittle. I cannot imagine how brittle the extra hard arms are. I know we went through several 35s before we switched to the 5s. If you NEVER touch the boards, or run with a group that never interferes with your line, you could run the 35s.

And when he says arms, he means arms, So do I as they are prone to breakage unless you're a world class driver. I've done $150 trying to miss that inside edge. If I had a wish list, it would have two things: the ability to be two inches wider in the turns and softer, more flexable front arms !!

I have two Phi's one carpet, one asphalt I have been running one since they were released..I have broken 2 arms! One front, one rear! They were the 35's also.
I just said arms because that was the only thing I could think of that has broken.....LOL
Not for the reason of a "Problem spot"!
