Is there any hope a LiPo will fit in this car? That topdeck is awfully low.

Yes, You can drop in the current diffs to the PHI.

The only reason people have problems with diffs in 12th scale is because the bearing behind the cone blows out because it transfers directly to the inner race of the bearing. If you get a Slap Master Thrust Bearing setup this eliminates that problem. The PHI diff is the same setup, with a thrust bearing. It should be really reliable.

Amen to that one! I looked last night and with the things going on around here and work...I get one weekend of asphalt racing before the Reedy.

So I see an all day test day in my future as soon as I get my car.LOL

Here in Sydney over the weekend we had 5 or so RDX Phi's on track at the MuchMore Masters. RDX Phi scored 1st and 6th in a very competitive modified feild, 5th in 19t and 3rd in stock. My RDX Phi was quite nice to drive but i withdrew from racing as i was running the meeting.

Ollie, you just need to speak to your distributer or Corally and theyll supply you with a cone washer, for some reason the diffs came without one. Once you put the conewasher in the diffs are spot on.

Robfo, by that do you mean replacing the thrust bearing with the cone washer or installing the cone washer with the thrust bearing?.
Thanks POPS01.

Take your diff to bits and compare with the assembly shown on the manual. You will be missing the cone washer...

Does anybody know the correct pronunciation of PHI? Is it fee or pie or fie or none of the above? I've heard it pronounced many ways here. My guess would be like fee.
