Some realistic ones aren't bad at racing, but the racing shells like the Protoform Mazda and DNA are likely more balanced in handling.
There are a couple companies out there that make realistic bodies, like HPI.. Most I've found from others are for M-chassis cars..

Did you say some realistic bodyshells aren't that bad at racing???
Care to suggest a few realistic bodyshells thats quite good for racing???
I'm just tired looking at all the usual bodyshells.

Well, finally got an update!
7. Approved bodies for 2007: SC430, FXX, Porsche Carrera GT, Supra, Any Skyline, 350Z, Integra, Any Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Opel DTM/ Touring car bodies. Pretty much everything except the NSX, Ferrari 430 and 360 bodies.
Apparently the Subaru B4 is GT1 only, so not on this list..
Among the rest, which are the best to race?
How much lighter are the "Lightweight" versions of these bodies?

I attended last years TCS National Finals at Tamiya HQ.
Althought the rules stated bodies for GT2 would be sedans, they still allowed sports cars bodies. I believe the GT2 winner ran a 350 z JGTC body.
I Had that body but used the audi TC body. I finally got the audi to work ok, but the 350 body was better.
I hope they will have more clarity in 2007 about what bodies will truely be allowed this year.
I'm getting kinda sick of TC anyways, and will run again, only if there is a F103 courage class only.
to bad there isn't a monster truck class. Now that I would be interested in!!
