I have 2 kits on their way.
Thanks to Hyper Mike for showing me this car.

I also have the FF layshaft on the way.

I am also thinking about picking up one of the Exotek top decks, I will be running carpet with rubber tire and 17.5 non boosted.
Will the Exotek deck be the best choice or should I just go with modding the standard deck?

What is the most popular deck mod you guys are doing?

If Exotek seems to be the way to go, do you want to split shipping with me and I will order 2, Mike?

I would suggest trying the stock top deck before you start hacking it. You might need to put the dremel to it if you decide to put bullet plug batteries in their. I got the exotek as a back up when there was talk that some parts might be disappearing from the shelves

I would start with Exotek right at the beginning. Easier and faster IMO.

Looks like the exotek top deck is all that's available now so you might want to keep it original just incase you ever want to go back to the stock top deck. Aside from that all parts seem to be in good supply but I am stocking up regardless.

Hi,

Does it come with aluminum clamp style hex hubs? Or composites?
If not, can I use other brand's aluminum hex hubs? What will fit
without any mods, Tamiya's, Xray's or HB's?

Thanks

Here's a couple of pics of my 'new' ride - I've actually had it for a couple of years, but only recently had the time to install the electrics and run it.

It ran well, the setup wasn't far off, just needed more on-power steering, I need lots of that

Default wiggle

so if i hold one of the front wheel, i can still have a bit of wiggle in the other one. The play is worrysome.

Does everyone who has this car have that as well ? I tried turning my servo saver down all the way and it still does that.

Shouldn't the steering be tighter ?

No, the steering should NOT be tighter, it will drive like crap if you tighten it.

Has anyone tried the Orion 5000 Molecular in theirs? Does it fit without any mods? I know my TrakPower Dark 5000 fits without changing anything.

I've noticed that on every TC I've ever owned even my T3 has a little.

makes it hard to set your toe.

So there's supposed a little slack?

I'm just having a dabble, nothing serious Chris. I've got a 10.5 but we can run pretty much what we want.

You still racing?
