That setup was for this track;
http://www.wlrc.co.uk
A reasonably tight and twisty asphalt track, and the grip tends to be quite low, although for that event is was pretty decent all weekend.

With the advent of LiPos you would think TC manufacturers would go with a central-mounted battery car like the JRXS. I know the car is old but it seems to make much more sense than what has become the standard TC layout. Gil Losi Jr is one hell of an RC car engineer and it's too bad he is in the tire peddling business instead of designing cars.

Hi guys,
I picked up a JRX-S this summer to run for rubber sedan. I have been running the xxx-s for a while now but I was curious if anyone knew off hand what size exactly he bearings are that go on the LCD and CVD pins? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Losi standard clear for gear and the beige one for the thrust, works real well.

Well, finally got to run my LRX-S TR for the first time yesterday. I am very happy! The car was very consistant. That's something I haven't had all summer. Going to make a couple of miner changes to see if handling can be improved just a tic better.
The first of the planned changes is to add a little flex in the chassis. There may be someone out there that will reconize this mod as I came up with this idea about 5 years ago for the HPI Micro RS4 & it works great. So I decided to incorporate it into this car.
Adding a little more speed will be the only other change I make before the next trip.
I'll let you know how it works.

Qualified 3rd & finished 2nd. Not too bad for the maiden run.
shock settings
Hi all, sorry in adv, searched for shock and too many posts..
I setup my car to a 5mm ride height. However, my shock adjustments all are individual ? The screw on the shocks are all set to a diff level...is that normal ?
My Tekin ESC is on one side, my rx on the other ...i thought maybe the car is unbalanced ??

You can use a caliper to measure this. Another way to measure length is to use the losi shock matching tool. http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...odId=LOSA99170
shocks
the shocks are equal length. When i go to set the ride height, if i leave the shocks at same settings (screw on the shock), the left side is lower than the right by 1mm.
When i adj to the same ride height, the shock settings are lower on one side than the other.
I thought maybe all cars were like that depending on weight of each side .. but doesn't seem to be the case ...
anyone else ? or is everyone's shocks all even out on all sides ??
