And there was much cheering and rejoicing. This will make my son oh so happy. The rest of the guts for the 17.5 Sedan arrived and now father and son can race in the same class again.

Our local track is a small tight indoor carpet with a few 180 turns. We all run rubber tires TC and Vintage class. Some guys have been playing around with one ways and spools. I am running a diff. at this time. I did try a one way for a few hours of practice but found it not very consistent in lap times. It just seems based on everything I know about one ways is they are ran on flowing and open tracks.
What direction should I focus my setup on? A diff., one way, or a spool.

servo horn
I see there were some post about this already, but I never saw a fix.
Is there anything you can do about the servo horn stripping out on Futaba servos?
Thanks Fred

servo horn
I saw a few weeks ago that someone made a Al. servo horn work. They made some sort of mod on top of it. Perhaps your servo saver is to tight? Does your servo have a metal or plastic gear? A metal will hold much better.

I would check the different servo horns that come in the pack. The book says KO should take a 25t horn when in fact they use the 23t horns. I had issues stripping them out all the time too untill I found out the book is wrong or the horns are not labled right. The Futaba according to the book is supposed to take a 25 as well. You may want to try a 23 out just to see if it fits better.

I loosen up the servo saver a bit, tighten the servo horn screw down hard like Mikexray said, got a Parma hard bumper.
or like someone post it herer few page back you can just install a long aluminium servo horn in there.
