Default Molded Type R front and rear arms...

Update for everyone-I ran the new production molded type R arms front and rear.

1st-The car is a considerable ammount lighter than the machined delrin arms.
2nd-Surprisingly enough the car seemed even easier to drive.
3rd-The arms seem to be durable but I am sure some will still break occasionally.
4th-The sway bar mounts are molded right into the arm, PIMP...

I am so far extremely happy with this car.

Default I have to admit....

the production pics do look very nice. Just no way I could get a GTB on the chassis.

It would have to be on it's side rather then sitting on the bottom, but it could be done.

Instead of mounting my ESC and reciver in the main chassis, could i just mount them on the top deck?

Karpet u may mount your electronics on the top deck but it will give the car a different center of gravity for roll in the corners

Default Brushless

Would it not be in Losi's best interest to design a car that was capable of using a speedo for brushless?

They are the ones that created brushless RTRs.

The GTB and Sphere can't fit on the new car without putting them on the topdeck? That seems unpossible, especially with the intentional support for LiPo. Not to mention, this car will probably outlive brushed motors, at least in mod racing.

When I get the car I will just make an "L" shape mounting bracket out of Kydex and mount the ESC to the bracket and they mount the whole thing to the main chassis. The ESC will still be on its side but will have the entire bottom of the ESC stuck to the bracket and the bracket stuck to the main chassis.

Or just allow it to hang a bit off the side of the chassis? Doesn't seem like a huge problem to me.

Or better yet! Maybe there's a new smaller brushless ESC they know about...
