RussB,
I will try to remind Billy to let me know who you are. Presently I'm and electronics student at ARC so I do not get out there as much as I would like to. I even have classes on Saturdays so I don't even get to come out and see the races let alone participate. I also know or at least think my TT01 could not stand up to whats out there even in novice class but when I do get out there its mostly just to practice or buy parts. Trying not to dump anymore money into what I have even with the new release of a CF conversion kit for it and just save up for the Type R.

I tried the Jaco Prism tires on my car before Vegas and ran them 1 run and went back to Parma 53's. They were double pinks and made the car push on entry and then it got loose in the middle of the turn. Granted I didn't try to change anything on my set-up, they did not feel right to me. Dumas had his car working good on them, so you might want to check out his set-up on the Losi site. Believe he ran pinks all around.

Hi all,

i have been running the front arms with a bit of kick up - rear of the hinge pin in the low roll centre position, and the front of the hinge pin in the high roll centre position. My question is, does anyone know how much caster this is adding to the caster blocks. I am currently using some 0deg alu caster blocks.

Thanks!

Pete

Default Electronic placement?

Hello all,

Just wondering what everyones thought is about electronics placement on this car? Has anyone tried running all electronics down the middle of the car? Mainly the ESC and Receiver and AMB on the top deck? Just wondering if it would change the handling of the car and if so... positively or negatively? On one hand you would have almost all your weight dead center but the weight/cg would be a little higher. On the other end... weight would be off to the side but lower/cg?

Can people please post some pics of their car showing electronics placement.

Thanks

That sucks. If I did not have class tomorrow I would come out and see how the Losi is running out at Speedworld.
