i've always done mine kind of the same set the epas with 100% dual rate and then just give it enough dual rate for the tightest corner on the track anymore than that and it seems to be too jerky

Hey all,
In the course of setting up the R, i have noticed a few things...
Firstly, this car doesn't really like having less toe-in on the rear. The stock 3 degrees seem to suit the car quite well. Coming from other cars which take about 1.5-2 degrees, I originally thought that 3 degrees was a bit too excessive, and that it would be something that I would only use off-road. But to my surprise, every setup I have tried using both the 1 degree and 2 degree blocks, its the 2 degree block that drives much better all the time.
The other thing I have noticed is the amount of on-power steering this car has got! If the car is setup and driven reasonably well, the more power that is put down, the more steering its got!
Lastly, this car is nearly bullet-proof. I have tapped my fair share of boards/pipes; scraped the side of the car while flying down the straight (with the axle stubs still sticking out); been rear-ended; been side swiped... but still in one piece. The most drama i have had with the car was the rear upper turnbuckle popping off when using it on the longest setting!
While the car is still very much in setup stages (yeah, its been 3 months since i got it, but don't get out much), I must say that it is the most durable and consistent car i have ever owned (remember... this is my opinion only).
I have lately aquired a second hand JRX-S as I am curious to see what the handling and setup differences are. Does anyone have any input on the differences? BTW, its on carpet with rubber tyres, NO traction compound.
Time's up!... I'll be off my soapbox now!
