Hey Keith, great looking car you got there... hanging out for them to make it down here. Just wondering, I thought the car had the "new" front camber mod? does the kit come with both?

Seeing that I dont have my kit yet...

what electronics are people going to be running?

I have been patiently waiting for the new Tekin ESCs and BL motors to comeout, for months, and so will be running my back up esc for the time being.

Electronics include:

Nomadio Sensor Rx (including motor temp sensor, rpm sensor, batt voltage sensor, all in real time telemetry displayed on transmitter)
Futaba s9451 (to be replaced with an airtronics 758 when it arrives)
Tekin R1 pro (currently a futaba 330cr)
Orion Platinum lipo (or IB4200 if lipos not permitted)
Tekin Redline 13.5t brushless (when it arrives)
Personal Transponder
Mazda 6 body

Cant wait!! Kit should be here on monday, so Ive organised to get monday and tuesday off as annual leave...

Pete

Are most people running the diff in the low position and letting the belt rub on the chassis? I filed back at an angle almost 3/4 of an inch and don't want to go back to much farther. I am liking the car more and more I work on it. I just got done with bag B (I know I am slow) and debaing on starting bag C tonight.

I'm like the other poor souls here, "It's in the mail". I haven't decided if this will be a bl car, waiting for the new bl and escs to come out.

Go back to last time when Todd said he would build cars for a lousy $100.

Russ you can forget the XXXS shafts. Its not the lenght that is the problem but rather the pins. The new shafts will be closer to something from AE or the Japanese cars because the ball and pins for the diff end of the shafts are smaller to fit inside the new narrower diffs. It was a good thought though!!

Ahhhhh....I pick mine up tomorrow so it will be all good then. And I'm hoping Todd doesn't have time to build anything as he should be putting header cards on spare Type-R parts to be shipped ASAP!!!!

Not sure what Syndrome's issue was with the PRS adapter and the center shaft, I had no problem with it at all. Just had to grind the pin down to fit the slot on the adapter a little, other then that it went together fine. So far it is going together well and I got a spool setup on it for now. I use one of the spool gears from the other car and just ground out the center till it fit the diff tube. It is still round too!!
