We do have several different winds of motors. We ran the 8T during the race with limiting in the controller which made it a little slower than we expected and decided to readjust the settings during one of our car fixing periods, which allowed for some fast time at the end of the race.

Izzy- Retail is $395, that should put it in the stores for around $250-$280 is our guess. We are scheduled to start shipping next week I beleive.

There were some "Politics" involved with some of the drivers that were supposed to be racing. You're right it stemmed from their sponsors putting the "Nix" on them having any fun.

Ben, email Tamiya about more Enduros if you have some time, It would be nice to run one every few months, hopefully we can extend race times a bit more! Hopefully everyone will be ready for the next one. For the first event, it looked really competitive untill the teams started having problems.

Thanks.

i saw the novak's system for *235 at tower's....are they wrong ?
is the motor rebuildable ? I heard some other brand were not plus had some cooling holes, so it was not possible to clean it except by sending it to the compagny .
one last question : does a bl motor stands humidity or water projections ?

Tuff- Yeah!!!! Get him!!!! Actually he's okay now I guess, He did help wheel us to the Enduro Victory LOL!

Hey Gilles! Did you get the replacement working okay?
Motor relibility has not been an issue thus far. We have seen no abnormal ESC failures either. Brushless motors in general do not need to be serviced regularily. Just basic bearing maintenance. I don't think any electronics fend very well against water but we don't foresee problems with most uses. Looks like Tower has a very good price.

Thanks,
Charlie Suangka

the new rx works great! thanks again for the service .
unfortunately i don t think i will be able to fix my old ko propo receive one day....
if esc's hate water, brushed motors stand it (if u dry it after) because brushless motors are more complex (is there any electronic thing inside the motor exceptcaps???) i was wondering if they could stand humidity
here in france the track is always very wet in the morning even if the weather is good .i am always afraid to burn my esc .

Hey Gilles- With water there are never "for sure" answers. There are just too many variables. The Novak Brushless motors are "sensor" based so there are couple components in the motor. I don't see the BL systems being more or less susestible similar damage from the same type of use a regular system would "put up" with. But water is generally always a big no-no. But I see where you are coming from.

Thanks.

thanks

i really think buying a bl system in a near future, at this time novak is the only brand i would trust because they just concentrate on r/c cars, I heard so many problems with the european compagnies in France, i don t want to take any risk, even if $250 is not so expensive, i never bought top-end esc, motor and brushes in the same time ,so I need a brand i can be sure of its quality .
(If reedy had made one too perhaps i would have choose them too)
