I've pre-ordered one to race in GT1 for the next 5-7 years.

This is from Kentech's blog page:

Quote
"This is probably the closest to a ISTC Worlds before the actual IFMAR World Championships at the end of the year, but the race is also significant for us TRF racers as this is the debut race for the new TRF421 chassis from Tamiya. This is used in the open stock class by TRF designers Kiyo Suzuki and Takayuki Kono, while TRF member and Tamiya employee Souta Goto participates in the modified class."

Is this a common chassis layout now? The front shock towers look the similar among other things. Interesting....

Still doing well after 2 rounds of qualifying. Souta is ahead of quite a few notable names.

Assuming that the plastic piece from centre front bumper hovering over the spool is a body support?

Goto Souta qualified in 8th spot with his TRF421 at the TITC 2024 race.
In Q4 he did a 21 5:08. All drivers in front of him also did 21 5:08 except Ronald Volker with 21 5:06 in Q4.

This is amazing for the TRF 421 and it looks very promising. Ahead of the Axons and Yokomos in Mod is pretty tough

Coelho/Hagberg must have “special” arms on their X4 24 that don’t delaminate / break 😉

Bruno did... but that's got nothing to do with the Tamiya...

Oh but it has so much to do with Tamiya.. especially for all the💩comments that we endure.

It shows that no manufacture is perfect, even one that self proclaims is the “luxury” RC brand… and it’s perfectly ok. It leaves room for improvement
