Hello guys,

This message is from a couple friends.

They race TC5R car and from next January in our country we can race LIPO.

They asked me to post here WHAT they need (please be detailed) on their cars in order to fit hard case 7.4v lipos, any special upgrade kit or something ?

thanks,

Pato Concha

Some guys use lipo trays, but I don't use any special hop ups. I just got some Tenergy baks and they have the nubs that look like roundcells so when I tighten the strap they lock in place. Look at the Team orion 3800 lipo.

IIC setup should be posted on the AE website soon.

I just do this, but since I run corally plug I've had to modify the battery strap by taking a big chunk out of it. I have also got the battery hanging over the edge for weight balance.

What have people been using to mill the chassis and cut the upper deck to get the motor to fit?

A dremel worked a treat for me. Bought one specifically for it too, use it all the time now though.

Did you use a routing bit pointed straight down at the chassis or did you do it by hand with the side of the bit?
