Hey guys, I need some help here, I just accommodated a FT TC5R brand new in the box. I was puting the diffs togather and found the screw is too short. I have compressed the spring with vise grips then heat heating it up with the torch. Still can't get it to go. I ended up breaking the ears offtrying too press down on it with a screw driver. Any suggestions.

These are quite snug and sometimes take a little persuading to seat all the way in.

Thanks for the advice...I got the TC5 afew months back and ran it for the first time at BC raceway in California and the spool worked great but the track here in Vegas is super tight and technical...I am running 1.5* of camber and rear toe, no toe in the front...blue springs in front and green in the rear with 35w fluid and the silver sway bar in the front with the ITF top plate...thanks again for the help...off to the races

I tell u what I am beginning to hate this TC5R, first it was the diff issue, then one of the turnbuckles for the steering wasn't threaded right, and now the steering bellcrank rod that bolts to the bottom of the chassis wasn't even drilled or tapped. Its sad its a brand new kit. I should've bought a Shuey.

The Tamiya blue anodized .5mm and 1mm axle spacers we use are part number 53646 or OP646. They go outside the hex.
