Some of you may not want to wait for the tc5 after seeing this.

I am sure the new AE car will be very nice. They haven't been one of the best for nothing They know what they're doing.

You don't have to. Theres a Tamiya/Xray/Hot Bodies/Yokomo/Corally version of this car already out. Nothing ground breaking here. Just pick the color you want you anodized bits in.
Enjoy your AE I'm sure it will be good.

I had a TC3. Didn't like the torque steer. I guess that's why all the mfr's have gone back to belts. Not putting the new AE down. It will be good.

Default Torque Steer ? And Back to the Drive for the 5

Torque steer huh? I've heard that so many times, but never noticed it on my TC3 ? But I only race stock with it and maybe my driving is so lousy I don't notice. Maybe I compensate without knowing it. Hey if that's the case, when I do get my nice new TC5, maybe for the first few races I will get "reverse torque steer" eh ??? and I'll be on here asking "Need help with weird steering problem on TC5" ...

New car looks nice, hope it is available in LHS in time for my next planned car purchase (about the 1st of March). I have 3 AE's, not sure what I'll get but really hoping this option will be there.

Ok... there I did my part got thread back on TC5. Nice segueway huh?

Daspacat1,

I am sure all of those cars are good but they are no AE car. Being from the US, I am sure this car will come with the standard AE hardware (no extra tools to buy) There is also parts availability, I am sure that most hobby shops will stock the parts. If all the cars including the AE car are good I see problem with waiting.

I have been drivivng AE cars an trucks a majority of my life and could not think of making a change now.

Sorry boss no sale here unless it is AE (Blue color no charge)

You are right Kevin. Parts avail. is always an issue with me. Thats why I would rather own an AE or Losi. I would get a TC5 before any of those other clones. It will be interesting. Iv'e already made my choice.

The car must be further along than I thought. Talked to a team driver today who told me he should be getting his belt car in the next few weeks. I believe he said it would have molded suspension arms, so they must have a few parts finalized
