well guys i figured out what was clicking. it was in the spur i took it apart lube the bearings and put it back togther and it stop clicking. but after that i rolled it without a pinion and stil didnt roll to much futher. so i lube all the bearings and lossened the screws in the back of the top plat, just alittle and it seemed to roll alot futher. after i pulled out my pro 4 just to test to see how much futher it would roll and my hpi seemed to roll much futher then the tc5. so i dont know what to do know. i mean i got the tc5 to roll alot i mean alot further but my pro4 4 seems to roll even further 
any suggestion ????
any suggestion ????your pro4 will roll alot further than most any belt car. The shaft cars are more effiecent as far as roll and are a touch smoother. That is why shaft cars are very popular in asia cause they have that 23t motor class.
If you found out it was a bearing that was clicking i would think about getting some spare bearings... they dont have to be expensive either... Its good to replace the bearings every so often especially if you race alot.

The anti-dive is what I was seeking. I only used the 6 degree caster blocks to returnb the caster so that is as close to the desired position as I can get using anti-dive. Optimally, I would use 7 degreee blocks for 6 degree caster AND anti-dive. but this is not available. Although it could be an interesting tuning part for an aftermarket parts company - 3, 5, and 7 degree blocks for those that run anti-dive.
I went to the inside position on the rear arm as a result of my Tamiya experiences. The Tamiya car used different shock position front and rear which resulted in the use of the same springs all-around. I never ran "split" springs front and rear with Tamiya so I thought I would try and set up the TC5 so I could do the same thing. That is why I used the green springs all around.
All these changes happened at a point in the event that I did not play with it much more. The car was so good I did not want ot mess with it further. But we have our Nationals next week so I will work on it a bit more and see what happens.

The really major failures are none!! Mostly wheel bearing from taking one too many rails that's about it. Also look into getting a good P-dub front bumper they help protect the front end better then the stock one.

Another question concerning your setup.
I've found 2 setup from the reedy race :
One with 40WT front and 45 WT (rc10.com) rear and one with 45 front and 40 rear (http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/asso...ce20080525.pdf), which one is right ?

I just put the new stock tc5r setup on mine. The only diffrents is I dont have a spool so I cranked down the front diff. Its no spool but it is really stiff.
Slapped an old G6 body with take off 32's and its very neutral and stable. Has a slight over steer off power and a touch of push on power with very little snap around on the slow corners. Very nice starting point.
I have a race tomorrow at a new place. Will report how it went.

Hey guys, I've noticed that most of the on-road set up w/ rubber tires are running no sway bars...why is that? Most of the on-road set ups with other cars like HB Cyclones, Serpent S400, MI3, Losi, Xray, etc, prety much everybody team runs swaybars on rubber tire asphalt...with the exeption of the TC5 team drivers...I think all of them run no- sway bars at all since 2007 till today.
Its pretty interesting and would like to know if anyone can give good reasons as to why AE drivers dont run sway bars most of the time on on-road asphalt.
