Tomorrow arrived my new Top Arp asphalt kit,

, i have the Red 08 version, with some houps.
Someone has tried both kits, there is a difference between them, behavior, ... ?.

Gear diff

Has anyone tried the serpent 400 gear diff ?
Does it work and are there any mods to do ?

Brad (Besercoe) runs one here in sydney. I belive it took some small effort to get in but it seems to work well. He posted about it a few pages back.

What is the largest 48pitch spur and pinion gears that can be used in this TOP Scythe???

I belive my brother was running a 40t with a 17.5t motor.

48pitch 40t for a spur gear??? Isnt that awfully small??? Or is that for the pinion gear???

I need to know whats the largest spur that fits???

I think he would be referring to the Pinion being 40t.

Around a 78tooth spur is about as big as you can go i think

Anyone run the TOP rims? How do they hold up? Are they a hard plastic or do they have a little flew in them? Thanks in advance for any info you may give.

I must say That I'm very happy with my new Top racing TC the kit is awesome very nice work.drive chain is very free, Now I need to hit the track. Does any body have a gear set-up for trinity 17.5 & rubber tire PIN & SPUR also foams with a 13.5 trinity and 3800 lipos trinity also. thanks

I have run them for a while now and find them to be quite good. They are somehere in the middle as far as stiffness goes.. probably slightly on the hard side. They hold up well. Stay away from the black ones though for some reason the CA seems to have trouble holding on.
