Aaron, I will just run through a few of my basic asphalt setup pointers that I would adgust with your setup:
(This is with the 2.5mm chassis)
Camber: 1.5 all round
Droop: 5 front, 3 rear (measured on yokomo/associated gauge)
Sway bars: 1.4 front, 1.2 rear. 0mm stick out on front, rear links perpendicular to ground (this is because the HPI rollbars are slightly longer than TOP ones)
Roll centres: 1mm under suspension mounts
1.5mm under front link inner ballstud
0.5 under rear link inner ballstud
Suspension mounts: FF: 2.5, FR:0
RF: 0, RR:3
Shocks:
Middle hole front tower (std tower), Third out on rear tower (std tower)
RS14 pistons (Rayspeed items, 3x1.2mm holes)
#500 oil (this is roughly AE 40wt oil)
No foam in shocks
Full rebound
HPI Pink front springs, HPI Silver rears
Other than that everything seems fine, remember if you are using the 2mm chassis, increase all the roll centre values listed above by 0.5mm. If you find that setup gives too much steering, go to 4 on the rear droop and replace the silver Springs with HPI Blues. I have never been a fan of the TOP springs tbh
I don't know how much more traction you're looking for, but if you click the link to My Blog in my signature, there is a short video on the 2nd to most recent post of my car with pretty much that setup above. That should give you some idea.

Yes that is Muchmore shock oil. I think in 6 cell classes anything up to #600 would be worth a try on your high traction tracks, but only with larger 3 hole pistons.

Hi guys,
Sorry to say that I have my 2 Scythes for sale, one is the older Gold Edition and one is the 2007 Red Edition that is only 4 race meetings old and comes complete with almost every option part, including many non-TOP parts. I am having to sell them due to a new sponsorship venture that will hopefully see me progress in the near future. I will post pictures and more details later
I would like to thank all of you for your input and discussions and wish you all the best!
